PHOTOGRAPHER needed to take photos of the newly arrived shelter animals once a week to be posted on NSALA web site. Must be available for two to three hours to shoot approximately 20 – 30 animals in crates and on leash. You do NOT need to be a professional, but you must have some sense of understanding the composition of making the animal look desirable and extremely adoptable and cute!

GRAPHIC DESIGNER needed to create flyers and to revise content for basic advertisements for newspaper. Skills in computer programs Quark, Illustrator and Photoshop are required.
Any daytime hours 9 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday
WRITER needed for web and newsletter content. Experience with creating editorial copy, blogs and feature articles is desired.
Flexible hours
MEDIA RELATIONS personnel needed to assist with updating databases, creating media reports and sending out press releases. Training will be provided, but skills in Microsoft Office are required.
Any daytime hours 9 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday
EVENT personnel needed to assist with making phone calls to either follow up to make sure invitations were received, or to inform someone about an event. Must have excellent customer service and organizational skills.
