Below is an email message and a picture our shelter director received from Duke’s (formally Dike) new owners.

Paul,
Dike is very happy in our home. My husband and I have five sons and a one year old, female Lab mix named Angel. Angel is totally in love with Dike. She cleans him, follows him, and sleeps with him. Dike is very tolerant of Angel. The dogs are settled and follow a routine nicely. We changed Dike's name to Duke. Duke is being fed well and brushed frequently. He loves being brushed. We love him very much. If there is any more information about him, we would love to know.
