Sadie

Sadie has settled in nicely in her new home. She is really enjoying the stability of her new routines and the love of the people around her. Overall, she is adjusting very well. In her own way, Sadie was missing the League—while she was here, she loved playing with a large, red plastic ball. Every time she was out in the walk area or in the dog run, she would push around her favorite ball and have a fine time. Once she went home Sadie's owners bought her new balls and toys but all met with cool reception. Sadie was really looking for her ball. Her family was disheartened as they watched Sadie pass by all the new toys only to push, of all things, a brick around. Seeing how sad she was, Sadie's Dad made the two-hour drive back to North Shore to pick up the ball Sadie loved and she is back to happily pushing it around every chance she gets.
