Hi Everyone. Happy Happy Holidays!
Oooohhhhhh… boy oh boy oh boy oh boy – and oh girl, too; do I have news for you! HEY, that rhymes! Anyway, I don't want to start rumors or anything, but I thought I should let you know that there's been some talk around the League, and I just can't keep it a secret! (Secrets are not my strong point, by the way).
BUT I overheard that someone was here at the League asking about me and MIGHT JUST BE interested in adopting me if all goes well!!! I MAY HAVE MY VERY OWN HOME SOON! I know I shouldn't get my hopes up – after all – I have a long list of home environment requirements, and it's not easy to meet them all. But I made a special holiday wish to have my very own family in the New Year, and I really have faith that my wish just may come true. Call it a hunch or call it a prmno… primo…premo… ummm.. a feeling!... but something tells me that I won't have to keep my paws crossed too much longer. And don't worry!!! I'll keep you all posted. When I know, you'll know too!
Man, I'm excited. Speaking of excited, did you guys play in that snowfall we had? Oh, I did, alright! I stomped around in it and dug and jumped and played in it and even ate some! It was cool and refreshing and made my teeth tingle. Know what else? I never knew that snow came in different colors. I kept trying to look at the pretty yellow snow, but for some reason, everyone kept telling me, "NO, Bradley, NO!" I don't get it. Oh well. Maybe next snowfall will be blue or something. That would be super cool.
OK, guys. I'm going to go see if I can get someone to brush my coat. I want to look neat and handsome incase I get a special visitor… but shhhhhh…. It's a secret. Haha.. Hey look – MUD! I'm going to go jump in it!
Happy Holiday Everyone!
Love,
Bradley

Hello everyone! Happy Belated Thanksgiving! Sorry I’m late on my Thanksgiving message, but I’ve been super busy with the holidays and have also been working hard on trying to get adopted.
Even though I haven’t found my forever home yet, I’m still very happy and I haven’t lost faith. I am so very thankful to the League for taking care of me for so long and for trying and trying to find me my perfect family. I think we’re all a little surprised at how difficult it has been, and how long it’s taking; but neither me nor the League is giving up.
But I’m grateful for everyone here – for making me feel like I’m already in my very own home, for making sure I got all better after I got sick, for waiting for the perfect family for me so that I don’t get sick again, for giving me love and treats everyday, for all my super-special friends, and for all the League does – not just for me, but for all the homeless pets here, and other places too. I’m thankful that so many of us pets get rescued from seemingly hopeless situations and then get love and care here at the League – and eventually get adopted into forever homes. I know my time will come. I know I’ll meet my forever family soon – I just know it.
Thanksgiving was a big day here at the League. It was really warm outside and we all got to play and walk extra long. We also got special treats and an extra big dinner that was sooooo good. It was so good, I gobbled (hee hee) mine up as fast as I could! I ate and ate and ate and slurped it up and kept eating and didn’t take a break at all. AND THEN.. when the last morsel was all gone, I kicked my water bowl over for the big ta-da! It made the biggest, most greatest noise ever, and I felt soooo happy! Then, after a few seconds, I stared at my water bowl and thought… “Where’s all the water? I’m kinda thirsty over here.” I just had that big meal and nothing to wash it down with. AND THEN.. as if it wasn’t bad enough that I had no water, I stared getting a little rumbling in my tummy that didn’t feel so good. Uh oh…I’ve been warned a bunch of times about scarfing down my food. It’s just so hard to resist. Luckily, it was only a few minutes before someone came in and gave me fresh water and took me out for a walk. That made me feel much better. Then when we got back, I took a looooong Thanksgiving nap. Good stuff.
Ahhhh, I love the holidays! Can’t wait til’ December!!
I hope to see you soon!
Love Your Friend,
Bradley |
