So Many Essays - So Little Time

Dear all the people,

This is Bradley. I need to talk to you like a big boy now. I just needed to tell you guys about the amazing essays that keep coming in about why people would want to adopt me. I’m even getting mail from people who can’t adopt me, but want to tell me how much they love me anyway. Can you believe it? I have to tell ya… a couple of them made me cry. Everyone is so nice to me. People who never even met me care about me. I’m a very lucky dog. Sometimes, right before I fall asleep at night, I can hear the essays being read to me in my head. It always makes me have exciting dreams about living in a home with a backyard and chewie toys and people to jump on… I mean play with (I’m still working out a few behavior kinks).

Soon, some people will be picked from the essays, and I’ll finally get to meet these people who want to give me a good home. I get so excited when I think about it. It won’t be long now before I have a real family of my very own.

I know I said this before, but I really hafta mention it again. I have so many dog and cat friends here at the League that also need loving families. I feel bad that some of them won’t go to their new homes. I know the League takes great care of us all, but there’s just something so special about having your very own family. If I could make just one wish, it would be for a big cookie…NO!. WAIT! .. I got distracted for a minute. It would be for all of my friends to find families to love.
