The Good Life

February 29, 2008

Hey everybody! Remember me? I’m Bradley, and I’m baaaaaaaaaaaack!

Sorry it’s been so long since I wrote you last, but I’ve been really busy! I’ve been getting all settled into my new home, and exploring all the different sights and smells. Man, there sure is a lot to smell. It takes up a large part of the day, smelling things.

But I wanted to tell all my friends how happy I am and some of the new and wonderful things I’ve discovered. First of all, my bestest buddy in the whole entire world is my owner, Elan. He’s just great. He gives me lots of love, attention and bananas! Yup - I said bananas! I love the yellow things - who knew? Elan always peels them for me, but ... now don’t tell anyone.... but when he’s not looking, I go into the garbage and get the peels! Hee hee. I love them. They’re slippery and chewy and icky and sticky. A dog’s dream!

I love my new house and my backyard too. The other day it snowed and I ran around and dug up a storm. The cold, white stuff was flying everywhere! It made me laugh... then it made me wheeze with all the excitement. But that’s ok, too, because Elan gives me my nebulizer twice a day, and I feel much better. It just takes like 30 seconds. I sit still (no really, I do) and just breath in this soothing cool air, and just like a magical mist, it makes me feel calm.

Then, when I’m done, I jump on the counter and steal something that’s not mine! Ha! I can’t help myself, people get all frantic - it never gets old. That is usually followed with people saying “NO!” and then I’m being chased all over the house to get whatever I stole. Haaaa... what a kick.

Well, I’m going to get back to my warm, cozy bed, loving family and dozens of toys now. I’m livin’ like a king, I tell you. I have a feeling this is what they mean by “the good life.” Either that or the day I dug up a dead fish in the garden. Ahhhh, that was the good life, too!

Ok, I’ll talk to you soon! I miss and love everyone.

xoxo,

Bradley
