North Shore Animal League America understands the intimate relationship between people and pets and has created a program where people with special needs, who can't care for pets, can still enjoy all the emotional and physical rewards of being in their "purrrrfect company."

The Purrrr-fect company, North Shore Animal League America's cat-assisted activity program, improves a person's physical and emotional well-being through the experiences of the therapeutic human/animal connection.

League Volunteers and their affectionate felines visit patients at various medical facilities to share the love and joy of kitty companionship; and the results are extraordinary.
