Make Your Fabulously Talented Pet a Film Star

If you've always been proud of your pet's special abilities, like dancing, singing, acrobatics, or even fashion-sense, here's your chance to show the world.

North Shore Animal League America is inviting all pet lovers to showcase what makes their pooch or kitty extraordinary in a video submitted to the First Annual DogCatemy Amateur PetFlix Online Video Contest, "My Pet's Got Talent." Use your best talents and create a 2-3 minute video that tells all about your wonderful companion and shows why he or she has a talent that outshines the competition.

Entrants will be asked to upload their films on YouTube and submit their entries through November 7, 2007. The Top Ten Finalists will be selected and posted on our "My Pet's Got Talent" People's Choice Awards web page November 1 through 14 for a "People's Choice" vote, with the Grand Prize Winner will be announced on November 15.

The Grand Prize Winner, a companion, and the starring pet will be the guests of the North Shore Animal League America at its 2nd Annual DogCatemy Awards, a celebrity gala, Thursday, November 29th at Capitale in New York City. This all-expenses paid trip to the Big Apple will feature a showing of your pet's video at this red carpet event hosted by Good Morning America's Weather Anchor Sam Champion.
