Dog Day At Shea. A Barking Success.

Someone definitely let the dogs out as the NY Mets hosted North Shore Animal League America's final Dog Day at Shea on Friday, September 5th, 2008. Wonderfully behaved dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds were adorned in their best Mets attire as they proudly paraded around the warning track led by child actor and Animal League friend, Josh Flitter.

The Mets may have lost the game to the Philadelphia Phillies, but the day was still a barking success as a sold-out picnic area was home to hundreds of excited Met fans and their four-legged friends.

Here are just some of the highlights from a wonderful Dog Day at Shea!
