We were able to rescue 29 more animals today and transported them back to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Dr. Ognibene will be on hand at the shelter with us tomorrow morning to examine them. If they are healthy enough to travel, we will be able to bring as many as possible back to the League with us.

Another successful and long day - but well worth it.

Thank you again to Jen and Mike who, as always, are doing a fantastic job. 

First departure from the Birmingham shelter takes place tomorrow morning.
