Re: Hurricane Katrina Rescue Efforts

The tents arrived in Tylertown today and will provide provide much needed shade in the extreme heat. We rescued 8 cats that we will transport back to the League for adoption. These cats were in the Tylertown shelter that was completely destroyed.

Our Virginia volunteers are coming back to Hattiesburg tonight and they should be bringing 3 rescued dogs that will be part of tomorrow's transport.

Off to a good start for the next transport.
