Re: Hurricane Katrina Rescue Efforts

The best part of the trip so far is the support we feel from people we meet on the way. We have had some folks wave to us as we drive through states or honk in appreciation of our mission.

When we stopped to get gas a couple of times, people came up to us and asked if we were going down South to help out the animals. One family last night was actually dancing around the hotel lobby with excitement when they learned we were headed down to assist.  They said they have been happy to see so many utility trucks passing them on their journey to help. However, when they saw our unit outside the hotel they were so excited because they are an "animal family".

Everyone that we have encountered wish us all the best and love what we do, SAVE LIVES!

Traveling today is going great. We should have no problem arriving in Birmingham tonight. The drivers are holding up well.
