Master of Ceremonies Richard Belzer of NBC's Law and Order: SVU and a full line up of pet-loving celebrities (and celebrity pets!) will be there to greet you. Well behaved dogs are welcome, so bring your pooch too!

At this Red-Carpet event, an expected crowd of 400 people will screen celebrity-made short films starring their pets. Awards will be presented for Best in Show, Best Tail-Waggin' Comedy, Best Musical, Best Dogumentary and Best Pawformance.

So come join the fun and festivities with notable celebrities like in 2007, when Rachael Ray, Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky, and Katie Lee Joel attended. Also meet authors, socialites, media influentials and supporters of North Shore Animal League America at this year's event! Master of Ceremonies - Richard Belzer.

A gentleman of vast talents, veteran stand-up comic, dramatic actor, and author Richard Belzer is seen regularly on the NBC Network's long-running, critically acclaimed dramatic television series, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, appearing as Detective John Munch, a character he has played on a record-setting 10 different television series. He is also a talent scout on NBC's reality show, Last Comic Standing.

Devoted to his dogs BeBe and Django, and a dedicated advocate for animal adoption, he serves as a spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America. He was most recently featured on television, radio and in print in their national public service campaign promoting shelter adoptions, "We Want You...To Adopt," portraying Uncle Sam.

Muscial Performer - Mya

In 2008 Grammy Award Winning Artist Mýa is celebrating a decade in the entertainment industry as an international superstar. Mýa is best known for her iconic hits "Case of the Ex," "Ghetto Supastar," "Lady Marmalade" and "My Love Is Like..Wo!" and won a Screen Actors Guild Award (ensemble) for her appearance in the film version of Chicago. This year Mýa served as spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America's life-saving Tour For Life, making personal appearances at both East and West coast events, including the Grand Finale at FAO Schwarz in NYC.

Beth Ostrosky

This year Beth Ostrosky serves as Honorary Chairperson of the DogCatemy Celebrity Gala. She is a long-time North Shore Animal League America volunteer and serves as its spokesperson, appearing on national and local broadcasts and in major publications. A model and television host, Beth provides inspirational words and educational pet tips in her monthly League website column. The depth of her devotion to innocent animals, and her commitment to save their lives, was witnessed this year as she embraced the challenge of running the New York City Marathon to benefit the Animal League, raising more than a quarter of a million dollars.

Marcia Gay Harden

Academy Award-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden has forged a remarkable body of work, always staying true to her chameleon style of "becoming the character." From the glamorous Ava Gardner in Sinatra, to the artist Lee Krasner in Pollock (for which she won best supporting actress Oscar), to the down and out Cecelia in Mystic River (another Academy Award nomination) Marcia has created a signature style based in character transformation. Her versatility and wide range have been praised in such films as Millers Crossing, The First Wives Club, Meet Joe Black, Mona Lisa Smile, The Hoax and Used People.

Robin Strasser

Emmy award winning actress Robin Strasser, Dorian Lord of ABC-TV's One Life to Live, has been one of the most compelling performers in the soap opera genre for over 40 years. She is a writer and producer and has appeared in a variety of primetime TV series including China Beach, Murphy Brow and Murder, She Wrote. Ms. Strasser shares her home and life with two Maltese dogs, Scooter and Bisou.

Bree Williamson

Bree Williamson is known for playing the dual roles of both Jessica and Tess Buchanan on the ABC-TV soap opera One Life to Live. She has appeared in a leading role of the feature film Adam and Eve, and has guest starred on the television productions Mutant X, DOC and Nikita, and has several product commercials to her credit.

Justis Bolding

Justis Bolding is seen regularly on the ABC television soap opera One Life to Live in the role of Sarah Roberts. She has also appeared in the television series 7th Heaven and Undressed and was the voice of Miranda Keyes for the 2007 Xbox 360 game Halo. She made her Broadway debut in Andrew Lloyd Weber's Woman in White. Justis is an active member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

Melissa Archer

Daytime Soap Opera actress Melissa Archer created the role of One Life to Live's Natalie in 2001 and has continued in that character ever since. She had her first major acting role on the program Wishbone at the age of 17. A former dancer, in 2003 she was honored with the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Newcomer.

Brian Williams

Brian Williams is the seventh anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News. Previously he was the network's chief White House correspondent and host of The News with Brian Williams on CNBC and MSNBC. In 2007 he was listed among Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World.

Katie Lee Joel

Celebrity and television personality Katie Lee Joel has appeared on Extra as a correspondent, Iron Chef America and Martha, and, in 2006, hosted the first season of Bravo's popular television series, Top Chef. The wife of the legendary musician Billie Joel., Katie Lee is known for her culinary talents. She is a member of Les Dames d'Escoffier, an organization that educates and mentors in the culinary profession, and is writing her first cookbook.

Cody Willard

Co-host of the Fox Business News Happy Hour, Cody Willard is a principal of an investment management company and writes for The Financial Times as well as a musician and songwriter for the group "Museum of the Horse." He met his "best friend," Toby, an Australian Cattle Dog mix, at North Shore Animal League America.

Sarah Silverman

An Emmy-winning comedian, writer, singer, guitarist and actress, Sarah Silverman is known for her satirical wit and comedy which addresses social taboos and controversial topics. She has written for and appeared on Saturday Night Live and appeared in feature films and documentaries including Rent, The Aristocrats, School of Rock and Super High Me.

Greg and Nicole Biffle

Through the Greg Biffle Foundation, NASCAR power couple Greg and Nicole Biffle have addressed the critical status of pet overpopulation, and subsequent euthanizing of innocent animals, by promoting spay/neuter programs. They have also sponsored the transportation of puppies to the Animal League where they are nurtured, put up for adoption, and assured the promise of happy lives in loving homes

Jodi Applegate

Veteran news anchor, Jodi Applegate has held principal anchor posts in New York at NBC, Fox, MSNBC, and Fox in Boston where she earned a 2003 Boston/New England Emmy for her hosting and interviewing skills and an Associated Press Award for Spot News Reporting. Jodi has also served as the co-anchor of the Weekend Today Show and co-hosted Later Today produced by NBC News.

Monica Seles

Tennis great Monica Seles was the youngest ever champion at the 1990 French Open at the age of 16 and has enjoyed holding the number one spot in the world of women's tennis. She has won nine Grand Slam singles finals including four Australian Opens, two US Opens, and three French Opens. This year, she appeared on the television hit show Dancing With the Stars.

Tamar Geller

Founder of The Loved Dog, Tamar Geller is a renowned life coach for dogs and the people who love them and is known as the "go to" trainer for celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Ben Affleck and Nicolette Sheridan. She regularly appears as the resident dog expert on The Today Show.

Gary Dell'Abate

A Long Island native who attended Adelphi University, Executive Producer Gary Dell'Abate has produced on-air personality Howard Stern's radio talk show for over a decade and is responsible for having brought a number of illustrious guests to be interviewed by the famous broadcaster. On the air, Dell'Abate is known as Baba Booey and tours the country giving live performances using that name. He appeared as himself in Stern's autobiographical feature Private Parts.

Fred Norris

Writer, comedian, musician and impressionist, Fred Norris, is best known for working with sound effects on The Howard Stern Show. Timing commercial breaks, writing parodies and playing sound clips have caused Norris to be known as the "quiet" member of the cast. Fred's career in radio began with Howard in 1979. Fred is the lead guitarist and singer for King Norris, the band he formed in the 90s.

Maria Menounos

Maria Menounos is an actress, journalist, and television presenter known for her appearances as a correspondent for The Today Show and Access Hollywood. She also has recurring roles on CBS’ Without a Trace. In 2008, she became the host of Hollywood Green on the Planet Green network.

Chris Booker

Chris Booker, who has made numerous appearances on the Howard Stern Show, is a radio and TV personality. Chris hosted Q102 Philadelphia morning show as well as K-Rock’s The Booker Show and Free FM. He also hosted Sushi TV for the TV Guide Channel and contributed to MTV2 music news reports and appeared on 120 Minutes, a former MTV series.

Alycia Lane

Alycia Lane began her career as a Washington D.C. based reporter for KSNT and later joined Cablevision-owned News 12 The Bronx as an anchor and reporter. She served as co-anchor of the weekday evening news on KYW-TV in Philadelphia and was awarded a local Emmy Award for her Holiday Traditions special.

Dr. Debbye Turner

Since 2001 Dr. Turner has been enjoying her role in broadcast journalism as a staff correspondent on the CBS Early Show. As a doctor of veterinary medicine, Turner also hosts regular pet segments titled Pet Planet, which air on both the Early Show and Saturday Early Show.

Dr. David Best and Elvis

David Best, MD a New York City physician, and Elvis his Parson Russell Terrier, were contestants on the CBS reality series, Greatest American  Dog. Elvis caught the attention of the show’s producers in his “Bark Mitzvah” video featured in the humor section of Dr. Best’s website, TheDoctorsChannel.com.

Julia Szabo

Julia Szabo writes the weekly Pets column for the Sunday New York Post, the monthly Pets column for Country Living Magazine, and the "Celebrity Bark" column for The American Dog Magazine. She is also the author of six books, including the popular design title "Animal House Style" and its brand-new sequel, "Pretty Pet-Friendly," due in March from Wiley. A longtime advocate of animal rescue, Julia regularly fosters pit bulls until she finds homes for them, and shares her own home with six rescued dogs and six rescued cats (that's her pit bull Angus in the photo with her).

Rescue Ink

Intimidating in appearance, the members of Rescue Ink, the nationally recognized animal "watchdog" group, have a collective heart of gold when it comes to pets – and zero tolerance for anybody who would abuse or neglect an animal. As they say, "they will stop at nothing, within the bounds of the law," to protect an animal.

Yul Vazquez

Nominated for a Screen Actor's Guild Award for his performance in the film drama American Gangster, Yul Vazquez has appeared on the hit TV shows Sex and the City and The Sopranos. He has appeared in the major motion picture Bad Boys II and will be seen in the soon to be released films Expats, The Marconi Brothers and Guerilla.

Linda Larkin

An American cinema and television actress, and an animal lover, Linda Larkin is best know for providing the voice of Princess Jasmine in the animated film Aladdin and in various Aladdin sequels and spin-offs, as well as in the Kingdom Hearts video game series.

Josh Flitter

Young actor Josh Flitter has appeared in a wide number of popular feature length films including Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Big Momma’s House 2, The Nancy Drew Movie and License to Wed. Most recently, fans heard his voice in the character of Rudy in Horton Hears a Who and watched his dramatic performance on ER. Josh plays the title role in the upcoming feature film, Ace Ventura Jr.

Brandon Hannan

Nominated for both a 2007 Screen Actors Guild Award and a 2007 Primetime Emmy Award for his portrayal of Vito Jr. on The Sopranos, Brandon Hannan is soon to be seen in the upcoming "Our Lady of Victory" co-starring with Ellen Burstyn.

Hallie Kate Eisenberg

One of America's most recognizable child stars, Hallie Kate Eisenberg starred in a popular series of television commercials and several major motion pictures, including Bicentennial Man, The Insider and How to Eat Fried Worms. She is the recipient of the Animal League's Junior Philanthropist Award.

Beth Joy Knutsen and Bella Starlet Dog

Seen most recently on TV reality show Greatest American Dog as a contestant with owner Beth Joy Knutsen, Bella Starlet Dog, a rescue dog turned professional dog actress, loves to entertain the public with her films, commercials and print ads. She promotes animal advocacy with her annual NYC Village Halloween Parade float.

Karen Biehl and Eli

A very busy canine, the adopted Chihuahua of Karen Biehl remains in the public eye after his 2007 stint at the Milkbone Dog Biscuit box model. Recently, Eli was featured modeling with Snoop Dogg on “Rip the Runway,” which aired on BET, on the Pet Fashion Week runway and in ads for Bank of America.

Schmaltzy and Sharon Lampert

Schmaltzy boasts the title of "Piano Virtuoso." Adopted by his pet mommy, Sharon Lampert, from North Shore Animal League America, Schmaltzy was discovered to have a talent for music. He performs at his mini keyboard three times a day, serenading his friend Falafel, a female, long haired exotic. When not making music, he serves as a "study buddy" for Lampert's tutoring clients.

Bocker and Marie Shelto

Bocker the Labradoodle has had a very busy year appearing in TV commercials and print ads, mostly recently for Barney's NY, Chase Bank Rewards and Target. Besides his modeling career, Bocker is a therapy dog and also works as a Tail Wagging Tutor helping children improve their reading skills. With his pet mommy, Marie Shelto, he is also a champion fundraiser for many worthy causes benefiting both his two-legged and four-legged friends.

Laurie Williams and Andrew

Laurie Williams and her 6-year-old Maltese dog, Andrew, were runners-up on the CBS reality show Greatest American Dog. Together this dynamic duo helped demonstrate the beautiful and mutually respectful relationship that can result from positive, dog-friendly training. Laurie, a dog behavior specialist with over 25 years experience and little Andrew, with his diminutive size, flowing white coat and show dog looks, helped redefine what most people think of when we hear the word "dog." His courage, tenacity and loyalty to Laurie took the team all the way to the top!

Anne Craig

Anne Craig is a feature reporter for FOX 5, WNYW. She first joined FOX 5 in April, 2003. Her "Anne About Town" segments are seen regularly on GOOD DAY NEW YORK covering a wide range of activities from tight rope walking or juggling fire with the Universoul Circus to going behind the scenes of the hottest Broadway musicals, or interviewing celebrities at red carpet events.

Jill Martin

Jill Martin joined MSG in 2007 as a host and reporter for the network's nightly sports and entertainment show "MSG, NY," which features updates, highlights, interviews, in-depth features and analysis on all sports and entertainment events in the New York area. Jill also conducts player interviews and half-time celebrity interviews during Knicks telecasts on MSG. In addition, she serves as a US Weekly contributor appearing on "Extra," "The Insider" and fashion segments on "The Today Show."

Brett Larson

Brett Larson joined WNYW/Fox 5, the Fox Television Stations flagship station, as technology and environmental reporter in 2007. Larson also is an anchor/reporter on 1010 WINS-AM radio. Previously, Larson was technology editor at WCBS-TV, appearing regularly on the weekday morning news program, weekend and weekday news. He also hosted 6 half-hour specials for the CBS station group and contributed to "The CBS Evening News" and CBS News "The Early Show." In 2004, Larson received an Emmy Award for a piece on the 50th anniversary of color television.

Damien Fahey

Damien Fahey has made a name for himself as the main host of MTV's TRL (Total Request Live), being requested by many of today's A-list celebrities and musicians for interviews. His abilities as a television personality stretch far beyond the MTV audience - Fahey regularly co-hosted Live! With Regis & Kelly, guest hosted CBS's The Late, Late Show, and is regularly called upon by major media for pop-culture commentary. Currently Fahey is part of an expert panel for Cosmopolitan magazine's Star Launch along with Natasha Bedingfield and Solange Knowles.
