Dear Friends,

Do you remember me, Sweet William? Last time we spoke, I was in pretty bad shape. I had been hit by a car and all broken up. The doctors were worried that I wouldn’t make it, but look at me now!

Thanks to the generous outpouring of support and a lots of luck, I’m in pretty good shape right now. My pelvis and legs have healed and look how much I’ve grown!

I live with one of the League’s kind doctors. She’s the best. She kisses and cuddles me all the time and makes me feel safe and loved. It’s very comforting knowing that if something should happen to me again, that I have my very own doctor to take care of me!

I am so happy to tell you that it looks like I’m going to live a pretty normal life. My only side effect from my trauma is that I sometimes wake with some minor head tremors. My mom says that we have to watch out for seizures in the future. But even if they come, I know she’ll be there to take care of me.

Know what else? I even have a little girlfriend now. Her name is Charlotte and she’s really pretty; although she doesn’t know it. You see, Charlotte has no eyes, but I help her find everything she needs like her food and water bowls and litter box, too. I’m taking care of her like my mom takes care of me. We are all so happy.

Thank you so much for caring about me and helping me heal. I know that without you, I may not be here today. I am so grateful to you and to the League for all they’ve done for me. Their life-saving Help Me Heal program made it possible for me to recover from that terrible car accident and to have the opportunity for a great life. And that’s exactly what I have.

Please continue to support the Help Me Heal program so that other little animals like me also have a chance at health and happiness.
