Bosley

Bosley's Update

Hi this is Bosley again. I am so happy to report that I am better from the surgery I had to correct my pelvis. After the surgery, to make sure I could still walk ok, I had to go through some physical therapy. But now I'm happy to say that I'm doing just great! The best news is - I've even been adopted! It is so nice to be able to run and play and just be a puppy again. I'm so happy and thankful North Shore Animal League America saved me, and that you all were kind and generous enough to donate to help me and others like me heal. My old life before I came to the League is just a distant memory now. Thank you!

Bosley's Story

Hi my name is Bosley and I’m about four months old. I was brought to North Shore Animal League America by a Suffolk County Humane Law Enforcement agent. I’d been hit by a car and my owners didn’t even want to pay to have x-rays done to see how badly I’d been injured. I was so scared and in so much pain.

Luckily, the nice veterinarian at the clinic where I was taken also works here at the League! Finally I’m beginning to have some luck! She got my owners, those who I had loved so dearly who didn’t want to help me out, to give me over to the League, and boy am I glad for that. Now I, like so many others have a second chance at healing, at loving and being loved. X-rays revealed multiple pelvic fractures so I have to have surgery. But that’s ok – I’m only a puppy so I know I’ll heal up quickly and find my forever home.

North Shore Animal League America can’t pay for these surgeries without the generous support from people like you. Won’t you please support the Help me Heal program so that other animals like me can have a second chance at a new beginning?
