Bucky's Update
Hi! This is Bucky again. The nice veterinary technicians and doctors have really helped to make my stay here at North Shore as pleasant as possible. I am all healed up from my surgery and have actually gone up for adoption. If you live in the tri-state area and want to come down and meet me, please do so! I won't let you down. You can read more about me on my web page.
Thank you for supporting me and the other dogs and cats just like me here at North Shore Animal League America. You really make a difference.

Bucky
Hi my name is Bucky and I came to North Shore Animal League America in early May. During my initial exam the doctors noticed I was very tense when they were feeling my kidneys. An ultrasound revealed a mass that had formed around one of them! After much discussion by my doctors, they decided that the best thing for me was to have my kidney removed. I was so scared to have this surgery but I was also in pain from the mass, so having the surgery was the best thing that could have happened. As you can see from my pictures, my neck is wrapped up. It is wrapped because I still have a feeding tube in. I really like to eat dry food and I hear that once my appetite is better the tube will come out. I had my surgery at a special veterinary hospital and your donations would really help to offset the cost of my surgery and other surgeries like this one. The dogs and cats like me rely on the donations from special people like you so that we can heal and be adopted! Thanks in advance for your support! |
