Tour For Life® Kick-off Event
On Thursday, March 12th, North Shore Animal League America and guests celebrated the Tour For Life® 2009 kick-off event as we bid bon voyage to two of our mobile units as they get ready to travel cross-country in an effort to save pets’ lives. Joining in the celebration was Tour For Life® 2009 spokesperson and Law and Order: Criminal Intent star, Kathryn Erbe and her dog Lilah, Animal League friend and spokesperson, Beth Stern, Father Chadwick and Rabbi Gellman who gave a special blessing for a safe journey, and participating Tour For Life® 2009 sponsors which included Presenting Sponsors: Purina One Hope Network and Supporting Sponsors: BISSELL, Red Roof Inn, ProMeris, Fort Dodge and Bayer HealthCare.
The ceremony was great fun, and we are hoping to have the best Tour For Life ever. See some of the highlights of the kick-off event:
