Rob Cuozzo is the newest addition to the Behavior Department. He began working at North Shore Animal League America as a kennel associate. Rob wanted to learn as much as possible about dogs while contributing to his college education. He is currently working toward a degree in Criminal Justice. Rob’s ultimate goal is to work as an officer in the Canine Division of the police department.
After Rob began working in the kennel, it wasn’t long before his natural ability and ease in handling the dogs came to the attention of the Behavior Department. Working as an apprentice, Rob has demonstrated an uncanny ability to evaluate and provide for the needs of the dogs in our care. His experience working in front of an audience as a singer along with his knowledge of kennel procedures enabled him to begin conducting “Safety Training” classes for new associates and volunteers almost immediately upon joining the Behavior Department.
When he is not with the dogs at the Animal League or attending class, Rob can be found reading, writing music, woodworking or caring for his Rottweiller and two Shepherds at home.
