The League and ARTT Once Again Join Forces, Rescuing Five Taiwanese Dogs
In partnership with Animal Rescue Team Taiwan, ARTT, North Shore Animal League America has again collaborated in a rescue operation, airlifting five dogs to safety from Taiwan to the United States. This is the third rescue project since October 2007.
Following behavior and medical evaluation at the League, the five animals (four females and a male), will be put up for adoption at the shelter in Port Washington.
ARTT was founded as a protection group to help save dogs from senseless slaughter in countries where animals are not revered as they are in the United States. ARTT arranged for transport to the States with volunteers who serve as escorts.
If you live in the (NY, NJ, CT) Tri-State Area, please consider adopting one of these deserving animals into a warm, safe, "forever" home.
